Cookie policy
Purpose version: 2026-10-21.5 · Content version: 3
This website uses essential cookies to operate. You can accept or reject analytics and advertising tracking. Website features and content remain available.
What cookies and similar storage do
Cookies are small values stored by your browser. This website also uses browser memory, session storage or local storage where needed. Optional categories start off. Scrolling, browsing or closing preferences does not give permission.
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Necessary cookies | Remember your cookie and language choices, protect forms and process booking requests. These cookies are always enabled. Rejecting optional categories does not prevent eligible bookings or payments. |
| Analytics cookies | Allow Google Analytics and article view counts to measure website use. Analytics events created by this website do not include form entries, contact details or booking tokens. |
| Marketing cookies | Allow Meta Pixel, Google Ads and marketing code classified by the administrator. Contact clicks, successful bookings and confirmed payments are separate events. Code with multiple purposes runs only when every required category is enabled. |
Tools on this website
- Necessary: the ptx_cookie_consent preference cookie, the NEXT_LOCALE language cookie, booking anti-abuse storage and transaction-specific security/session cookies. Administrative session cookies are used in the admin area only.
- Website content and features, including review widgets, maps and videos, remain available regardless of tracking choices. Embedded services connect to their providers and may process technical data under those providers’ policies. Analytics and advertising scripts configured by this website follow your tracking preferences.
- Analytics: article view measurement (the ptx_post_analytics cookie lasts no longer than your current consent) and the configured Google Analytics tag. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*; provider settings determine their lifetime.
- Marketing: other explicitly classified marketing snippets. No optional marketing code is loaded for a new visitor before permission.
- Custom head code: passive verification metadata and JSON-LD do not require optional tracking consent. Executable snippets without a category remain blocked. A snippet assigned to several categories needs all of them.
Storage periods and your choices
Your cookie choice is saved for up to 180 days across Vietnamese and English. A purpose-version change or expiry asks for a new choice. The record contains choices, version and timestamps, not your name, email, phone or booking code. This period is separate from booking data retention.
Language selection is a session cookie. Anti-abuse booking identity is stored locally until the browser removes it. An article-rating protection cookie may be set when you submit a rating and has a maximum one-year lifetime. A consent-triggered reload may temporarily save an in-progress booking form in this tab; that draft is removed when restored, is not reused after five minutes, and is not sent to tracking tools.
With analytics permission, local booking references may be used for up to 30 days to avoid repeated lead events. With marketing permission, hashed event identifiers may be used for up to 30 days to avoid repeating successful booking or payment events. Marketing event identifiers do not contain raw booking codes, payment references, names, phone numbers or email addresses; known local marketing records are cleared when permission is withdrawn.
Withdrawing and changing permission
Open Cookie settings in the footer to reject optional categories, save a selection or withdraw permission. Turning off code that has already executed can require a reload. Website-controlled events stop and known optional first-party cookies are cleared where the browser permits it. The website cannot delete a provider's third-party or HttpOnly cookies, or erase information previously received by that provider.
Bookings, security and payments
Refusing analytics or marketing does not block the booking form, address search, a requested trip quote or eligible PayPal checkout. Trip-route maps and anti-spam protection load where needed in the booking flow. PayPal checkout opens only when you choose to pay on the eligible English booking flow. Provider privacy rules also apply on their own services.
